We just recently had McDaniel's and Granite Construction renovate our kitchen. Our new kitchen is gorgeous - we could not be happier with it. I looked at McDaniel's FB page to see examples of their work and chose to work with Nicole Raysin. Nicole really knows her stuff and is creative and fun to work with. She also kept my budget in mind and would steer me to the materials within the price point I was trying to keep the project at. We love everything we chose and didn't feel like we had to compromise on anything. In other words, the choices within our budget were plentiful. I have a difficult time with color choices - Nicole helped with paint colors, tile colors, quartz selections, and hardware. It was a lot of decisions that I wasn't confident making, so I was so happy to have her expertise. It all came together beautifully. In summary - Nicole is amazing! Granite Construction is owned by McDaniel's. We decided to have them do the labor and felt it was an excellent decision on our part. Kevin Dawson was our project manager. He kept everything on schedule and running smoothly. He was very accessible and provided a schedule of the project so we'd know what was happening and when. The project moved along with no delays. The crews were competent, friendly, and did great work. An added bonus was they left the work site spotless at the end of each day. The whole project from start to finish went so smoothly and now we have a beautiful kitchen to show for it. Highly recommend, Nicole Raysin, McDaniels's, and Granite Construction.
Our whole kitchen had to be torn apart as a result of a water leak. It was no fun, and I don’t recommend it, but I definitely recommend McDaniels and Julie Johnson! She helped me to restructure my tiny kitchen to a much more functional space, and it’s beautiful!! I really appreciate how well she made our vision come to life, and I honestly smile whenever I walk into my kitchen!
McDaniels made my dreams come true! The contractors were very friendly and always on time. Everything was spelled out in the contract with no surprises and they finished on time, and even cleaned up. We have been using McDaniels for our primary residence cabinetry needs since 1989, and we still love them. When it came to remodeling our cottage at Higgins Lake we were happy to hear McDaniels would service and deliver to us in northern Michigan. Even more delighted we were able to get all of our remodel project materials in one place: cabinetry, countertops, faucet, hardware, as well as our vinyl plank flooring. We were able to use our own contractor from up north and our own favorite supplier back home. Julie J. was patient, provided guidance, and really listened to what we wanted. Our requests were not for the popular selections most people favor, but more of a cottage/cabin feel. We are delighted with the transformation! Even our contractor complimented us on the quality of the Diamond cabinets we selected. Thanks McDaniels!
Julie Johnson was our designer for our total kitchen remodel. It is exactly what we wanted. Everyone was very responsive of our wishes and needs. The whole job stayed completely on schedule and we did not have one day of delay. Granite Construction did the installation and they were also as fantastic as McDaniels and Julie. I added some before and after photos but they don't do justice to the amount of work that was done and the joy I feel working in my new kitchen. Don't hesitate, use McDaniels!!
