Such a cool place to hang out on our trip to Michigan for bowling! The kids enjoyed playing some of the games I played as a child! Great place, great prices and the people there are so friendly! we will definitely try to return!

An awesome place to go play pinball! $15 freeplay on Thursdays and $20 on Fri-Sun. Great lineup of classic Williams/Bally, as well as new machines, with an entire wall of music themed pinball machines! All of their Stern machines have Insider Connect, so you can log in and get achievements on freeplay! They even have skee ball, bubble hockey, and darts! Staff are cool, Amanda, Olivia, and Vinny are very friendly and welcoming! Beer is cheap, you can get a domestic can for $3 or a craft beer can for $4! You are allowed to bring your own food in, I recommend picking up some delicious Green Latern Pizza that is nearby.

They were great with our impromptu b-day party! The owner is a very nice guy, our group stayed until closing because we were having fun. Good machines - they’re clean, they work! And Free Play has enough machines to rotate them so there’s always something new and different. My favorite is a vintage World Cup soccer :)

This place is so fun and such a terrific deal! We love the old time arcade games and they have a ton of them! You name it, they have it. It was nice to pay one flat rate and get to play unlimited, a welcome departure from the new arcades that require you mortgage your house to play! Definitely will be back.

Having heard a great deal from friends, and with there being such a drought of arcades as time goes on, I was compelled to visit as an enthusiast and advocate for pinball/ arcade preservation. Having done so, Free Play Pinball Arcade is fine. I was charged $20 for a day pass over the weekend, which I generally wouldn't be too concerned about as it allows you to play the games as much as you can handle without worrying about visiting a coin changing machine, but the selection is very limited and the space seems both spacious and cramped with the room cut in half with two rows of machines in the middle and machines on either wall. All in all, if you make a point of trying everything and don't rush, you would find yourself having experienced everything in less than an hour, but that also depends on how busy the place is and how skilled/ lucky you may be. Regarding the games included, there were some treats that you don't see all that often (including the large "Hercules" machine), which is rightfully touted and showcased near the front, as well as a working Tron cabinet (I swear, they are almost always down when you find one), and both a "Stargate" and "Defender" machine side by side so you can really get the full experience (I have always been a fan more of the former, but it;s always nice to be able to try both). In regards to the care of the machines off a glance, I would say for the most part, I didn't notice anything too glaring, other than a few of the machine possibly not as level as they could be with balls getting stuck quite often, as well as worn flipper buttons here and there, especially with the older machines (I'm looking at you "The Machine: Bride of Pin-Bot"). The cleanliness of the establishment was fine, but there was some trash here and there underneath machines, but nothing you wouldn't notice if you were just wandering around. They offered a small selection of snack foods and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and the prices seemed fair but I can't really attest to them too much as I didn't partake in any of it and I don't like to embellish, when it affects a business. All in all, this is a nice place to visit if you need a fix and would rather experience non-emulated versions (You just can't beat the original at times). Some constructed criticism I would offer is to look into the possibility of expansion as the selection provided was fine but felt small at times, as well as the possibility of providing older pinball games in lieu of the large selection of rock music pinball games. I find them fun, but sometimes, I just want to hear the old school sounds attributed with "Pool Star" and the classic "Fireball".
