***Company never responded to my complaint with BBB. There are spots in my yard where the grass has burned and gone away completely. Use this company with caution….
**Update....they are still not taking accountability. I am cancelling my service and filing a complaint with the BBB
**Sigh***….it saddens me to write this review as I had a good experience with them last season. However, they came out this past Monday to treat my lawn, second application of this season. Temperature was almost 90 degrees but they proceeded with the application. The next day when I came home, I was appalled at the appearance of my lawn. I wish I had take a before picture, but I had just been complimented on my lawn by my neighbor and was going to recommend their services. I contacted the company and got a follow up the next day but felt completely gaslight being told I need to “water it more”. Person who cut my lawn confirmed the application should not have been done in that kind of heat. Still waiting on someone from the company to come out and look at my lawn. I am withholding payment until this issue is resolved.

This was my first full year using Independent Lawn Service. They did an AWESOME job. My lawn stayed green all year long with minimal weeds. They also helped me grow some grass in an area which had been very bare for a few years. They also answer any questions I have patiently and I have learned a lot this year despite being a homeowner for almost 20 years. I am signing up again. Only downside is they are not cheap, but they are worth the investment if having a good lawn matters to you

Great service, Friendly, consistent in addressing concerns. Thought a new lawn was needed but they revived a yard full of nothing but dirt and weeds to a lush beautiful green lawn. Believe me they know what they are doing. Recommend to anyone. Only one caveat, service not available in all locales. (Detroit being one)

Independent Lawn Service has been the fourth lawn service my wife and I have used. ILS is by far the best. We had issues with grubs and crab grass and ERIC has helped talk me through them, and I expect even better results next season. I started out late in the year, but still had some of the greenest grass in my very lawn envy neighborhood. I'm going for a full season in 2025 and looking forward to working with ERIC and the team.
Great Customer Service.
