Their representative, Ollie, was not only friendly but also very knowledgeable. On his first visit, we went up to the roof together to evaluate the site and talk about potential solar options.
Strawberry Solar’s quote was not only competitive but also the most thorough in addressing my needs. The need for a new roof delayed my project, but it allowed me to reconfigure some external vents. This change enabled an upgrade to larger panels and three additional ones, better meeting my electrical demand. Ollie was super patient with me as we worked through the changes and got the system just right.
I selected REC panels, Enphase system components, 10KW battery backup with future-proofing for bi-directional charging. I also upgrade my main service panel as Strawberry Solar is Span.io certified and they offered a reasonable price for the Span.io panel upgrade. This technology allows real-time monitoring and control over individual circuits in the home, a feature I highly recommend.
I must also say that Strawberry Solar’s contract was impressively detailed, outlining every step and timeframe, offering clarity and assurance far beyond typical contractor agreements.
After I signed on, Tim was assigned as my Product Manager and proceeded to work with me every step of the way on the project, keeping me informed with great communication. The installation week was seamless, with highly skilled electricians executing a neat and efficient plan that impressed even the Electrical Inspector. As an Electrical Engineer myself the electrical work was meticulous and done with minimal power interruptions. Seeing other system photos online, I expected conduit all over the place, but what was installed was very neat and well organized.
Upon activation, the system worked flawlessly. Not one wire out of place, not one problem, amazing! Tim thoroughly explained everything and answered all my questions about the system and the software. I learned that Strawberry Solar excels in communication and employs friendly, dedicated staff all around.

I could not be more happy with my investment with Strawberry Solar. They offered me the best pricing of the 3 firms that I had quotes from and they performed the installation almost flawlessly. The array installation crew worked until almost dark to complete the panel installation on the same day and the electricians, who received praise for their work form the electrical inspector, were very professional and easy to work with during the install. Overall, I am sure that I made the right decision to go with Strawberry Solar.

We have had our solar panels and whole house battery backup system for about a month now. This is one of the best decisions we have made. Our system has kept us completely off grid for the last four days straight. I have only turned the grid back on to sell back the excess energy my system is producing. Currently, Eighty-five percent of the energy has been from solar over the past month. This includes four days of the system being shut off by the utility company for testing so that is the likely source of the rogue fifteen percent. Your battery system keeps track of all your stats and energy use (where I got my numbers for this review). Full transparency at your fingertips.
The entirety of the process was painless and easy for us. Initially, options were presented to us with full detailed proposals by Ollie. Installation and power output was explained clearly and patiently as I asked about a thousand questions. Once I realized that the whole system which included the panels, a whole house battery backup and car port charger would be the same price as a natural gas generator, the decision is easy. After Strawberry deals with all the mind-numbing paperwork with the power company, two teams come to the home. Everything is explained step by step. Frank and his team installed the panels in two days. Brad and his team did the electrical work in three days. We then had to wait agonizingly while the power company finally signed off on the system and expert workmanship. Becky took care of the final steps and boom... the following on a day to day basis is covered by our system:

System has been up around 12 months, overall production has been consistent with the initial estimate from the proposal.
We started this process in October 2021, contract signed August 2022, and final install finished January 2023. We had numerous design changes from our standpoint (and some delays with city/county approvals) and at no point were we pressured or felt frustration from anyone at Strawberry. Gunnar handled most of the contact and design and was fantastic to work with. He was extremely attentive/responsive to all our questions. Not once did we get the sense he was trying to sell us anything – he had a much more educational approach and was happy to entertain all my hypotheticals.
Kenan and Mason (as well as the rest of the electricians) were extremely knowledgeable and able to troubleshoot and address issues that arose with the complicated system. We had to rearrange several circuits given our multiple panels and geothermal system – they navigated everything with ease. Whenever we’ve had any type of electrical issue, even if not related to the Solar install, I do not hesitate to reach out and they have always been extremely responsive. Tim was great in setting up and troubleshooting issues with the integration of all our systems.
Overall, fantastic experience. I know this was not an easy install, and Strawberry handled it well. I would work with anyone at Strawberry again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.

I had Strawberry Solar install a 12 kW system this summer. I could not be more pleased and satisfied with how it has gone so far. The output is right about where it was promised it would be. The app/software that monitors the system is easy to use. The salesman did not push hard and let his product do the selling. We actually installed a slightly less expensive panel because it didn’t make sense for my situation. It was his idea. The installers were great and professional. No concerns at all.
